“Environment, Social and Governance”

O IIA Portugal (IPAI) vai organizar, nos dias 12 e 13 de Outubro, um grande Evento com o apoio da Confederação Europeia dos Institutos de Auditoria Interna (ECIIA), que terá como lema “Descobrir a auditoria com inspiração”.

O programa para estes dois dias abrange, entre outros, os novos regulamentos europeus emergentes sobre requisitos ESG: “Ambiente, Social e Governação”. Incluirá sessões plenárias sobre o novo modelo de negócio, os novos riscos e oportunidades, com particular destaque para as novas Diretivas e Normas Europeias de Relato Não-Financeiro. Discutir-se-á o papel que os auditores internos deverão desempenhar no que respeita ao apoio aos órgãos sociais, à articulação interna com os vários intervenientes no modelo das três linhas, bem como a interligação com o ROC e os auditores externos. A manhã de quinta-feira será totalmente preenchida com as novas Normas Globais de Auditoria Interna (GIAS, Global Internal Audit Standards), e a parte da tarde proporcionará uma análise sectorial dos impactos do novo modelo de negócios decorrente da aplicação do normativo ESG e a partilha de boas práticas.

Temos como objetivo agregar um conjunto de competências e saberes de participantes e oradores que, com as suas intervenções, pretendem contribuir para um melhor desempenho da profissão, para a partilha de valor nas empresas, uma melhor perceção da importância do risco associado à ESG, e à introdução das novas normas GIAS.

Este evento, vai ter lugar no Centro Cultural de Belém, nos dias 12-13 de Outubro próximo.

Message of IPAI President

IIA Portugal (IPAI) will organize, on the 12th and 13th of October, a major event with the support of the European Confederation of Internal Audit Institutes (ECIIA), which will have as its motto “Discover auditing with inspiration”.

The program for these two days covers, among others, the new emerging European regulations on ESG requirements: “Environment, Social and Governance”. It will include plenary sessions on the new business model, new risks and opportunities, with particular emphasis on the new European Non-Financial Reporting Directives and Standards. It will discuss the role that the internal auditors should play with regard to supporting the governing bodies, the internal articulation with the various players in the three-line model, as well as the interconnection with the Chartered Accountants and External Auditors. Thursday morning will be completely filled with the new Global Internal Audit Standards (GIAS, Global Internal Audit Standards), and the afternoon will provide a sectoral analysis of the impacts of the new business model resulting from the application of the ESG regulations and the sharing of good practices.

We aim to aggregate a set of skills and knowledge of participants and speakers who, with their interventions, intend to contribute to a better performance of the profession, to the sharing of value in companies, a better perception of the importance of the risk associated with ESG, and the introduction of the new GIAS standards.

This event will take place at the Centro Cultural de Belém, on the 12th-13th of October.
